Discover our origins

The Beremot legend begins in the mid-nineteenth century during one of the expeditions of a renowned Russian explorer throughout unknown regions of Asia.

In their quest for finding the last specimen of the mythical ‘behemoth’ animal in a foray through the Tibet region, they crossed the Himalayan mountains and rivers such as the famous Brahmaputra. In this area full of sacred temples, they discovered several species of flora and fauna in a stunning natural environment that had never been seen before, recording everything in their travel books.

However, they still wanted to achieve one of their greatest discoveries. Locating the last Asian hippopotamus, a mammal of great strength whose species would soon move to the African continent.

More than a century later, Spanish adventurers have picked up the essence of this story. Impregnated with the typical aromas of the locale, they have developed Beremot, a vodka made of four distillations of corn that resulted in a range of five varieties: Neutral, Lime, Orange, Strawberry and Coffee, each of them with their own distinct personality that offers an authentic wild and daring flavour in the pure style of the traditional Russian drink.
